Thats the thing about goaltenders................. You either have none or a handfull.

Keepers are hard to find for the simple reason that good keepers are not looking for a team.

I'd love to help you guys out but then that would make me a multi-teamer and I'm trying to limit that these days...

Keepers are an odd bunch. Its taken 5-6 keeps to fine one that fit with our team. I've had keeps with serious self doubt issues, some who 'd never show up and some who thought they were the next fabien barthez... but FAR from him...

I'm sure it will take 3 or four tryouts before you get your guy!

Think of this as a way to force your team to get better defensively.

I like competitive games. *sighz* I think it was my fault recruiting a goalie who wasn’t suited for B division. In my defense… The goalie bragged how good he was and he never allowed a goal in…. So we brought him in without any tryouts.

It was a fun physical game. The team just needs to stay calm. I know the referee he’s a pretty good dude. We had a talk as well after the game regarding keep our team calm. I spoke with other team members.. bunch of classy guys.

*sighz* the team we are facing next week… seems like another obstacle. No easy games in this division.

hey msklifesux... i caught your game last week against baaz.. I agree that there were some goals that could have been saved.. but all in all a very competitive game

I just wanted to comment on some of the dangerous plays some of your teammates made. For the first red card (when the player tried to slide tackle the otheR from behind), I think he was just trying to make a play to save a goal (even though there was a defender still back there).. and he wasn't trying to harm anyone..but still a dangerous play

But the second red card was just stupid on part of your player. He clearly ran 5 yards to a player just to push him to the ground with both hands and full force. The player he pushed didnt even have the ball on him.

Furthermore, players on your team kept complaining about calls by the referee ( which i thought were fair). I remember on one instance, a player from your team got on the ground to pretend like he was injured just to mock a player on the opposing team who was really injured on the floor.

Look, we have played against you guys many times,and they have all been fair games.. and you are a understandable guy from what i have seen on this forum. It is not easy to move a division up. The physicality of the game also changes. You should really tell your team to calm it done a little. In all honesty all those cards you ended up getting resulted in you guys missing your chance to tie, or win. In the end, it only hurts you guys

we are in division B.
Our current goalie isn't avaliable till summer.
we had a backup goalie.. well.. uh.. :(:( let's just say he
was just a hockey goalie, not a soccer goalie :(:(:(

I heard David James is available from Portsmouth... probably pretty cheep too...lol
